What is the Global Motherhood Leadership Summit?

The Global Motherhood Leadership Summit (GMLS) is a research-based, ethics-focused, human-centered, and community-driven leadership initiative of the Post-Pandemic Leadership Research Institute, led by Dr. Yanli He.

GMLS is designed to equip mothers and women with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as leaders in an ever-changing world. Held annually on Mother’s Day, the Summit brings together women from diverse backgrounds to learn, connect, and build meaningful communities. Participants attend the Summit for inspiration, practical leadership tools, meaningful networking opportunities, and a supportive space to grow personally and professionally while embracing the unique leadership journey that motherhood brings.

The 3rd Annual Global Motherhood Leadership Summit 2026 held in San Francisco was honored to receive a Certificate of Recognition from California State Treasurer Fiona Ma. The Summit’s impact has also been recognized and testified to by corporate and small-business leaders, as well as government and community leaders at the local, state, national, and international levels.

Why You Should Attend

As experienced at past summits, mothers from all over the world — from CEOs to educators, entrepreneurs to community leaders — come together to share their journeys, wisdom, and challenges.

Through keynotes, workshops, and panel discussions, you’ll discover how motherhood inherently cultivates leadership traits — empathy, resilience, creativity, care, adaptability — and how these translate into powerful leadership in business, ministry, family, or community.

GMLS is more than a conference — it’s a community. Past events gathered mothers from many countries and many walks of life, creating friendships, mentorships, and collaborations across industries and cultures.

As life becomes increasingly digital and flexible, this Summit recognizes that motherhood leadership isn’t just personal — it’s vital for building healthy families, workplaces, and societies. GMLS offers both the framework and support to lead forward confidently.
