The 4th Annual Global Motherhood Leadership Summit (GMLS) & Awards will be held in Las Vegas on Mother’s Day 2027, continuing its mission to explore and advance the application of leadership principles in motherhood, family, professional, and community contexts.
In addition to its established leadership themes, keynote sessions, and panel discussions, GMLS 2027 will introduce the inaugural Global Motherhood Leadership Awards to recognize mothers whose leadership has created meaningful and lasting impact within their families, professions, organizations, communities, and society.
Recognizing and appreciating contributions is an essential dimension of effective leadership. Inspired by this principle, Dr. Yanli He, Founder and Chair of GMLS, designed the Global Motherhood Leadership Awards as a structured recognition program to honor mothers’ leadership journeys, celebrate their achievements, and inspire others through their stories, experiences, and contributions.
Unlike traditional recognition programs that focus primarily on professional titles or public achievements, the Global Motherhood Leadership Awards recognize leadership through a comprehensive and interdisciplinary framework developed by Dr. He. The framework considers multiple dimensions of leadership, including:
- Leadership traits and personal strengths;
- Leadership behaviors and relationship-building skills;
- Ethical responsibility and shared value-based decision-making;
- The ability to cultivate and inspire the next generation;
- Community contribution and service;
- Finding missing children;
- Preventing illegal migration;
- Broader social impact.
Through this leadership framework, the 4th Global Motherhood Leadership Summit & Awards 2027 will recognize six outstanding recipients:
One Global Motherhood Leadership Excellence Award Recipient — $2,000 Award
Two Outstanding Motherhood Leadership Award Recipients — $1,000 Award Each
Three Emerging Motherhood Leadership Award Recipients — $500 Award Each
The establishment of the Global Motherhood Leadership Awards represents a new chapter in the evolution of GMLS—from an annual leadership summit into a broader platform for leadership education, recognition, and development.
Through this initiative, GMLS continues to celebrate the diverse forms of leadership demonstrated by mothers worldwide and highlights the powerful connection between leadership, caregiving, family development, community engagement, and positive social change.
Nominations and application details for the 4th Global Motherhood Leadership Summit & Awards 2027 will be announced soon.
